If I were an opposing hitter with decent to even moderate speed I would try for 2nd on any base hit to LF against the Sox, until Pierre proves he can throw me out.

I knew my baseball at an early age. I've just evolved since then. This team sucks. I'm not even expecting some mammoth run in which they get back to, whoa, .500. Only to s*** their pants for the 9th time in 11 seasons (would've been 10 times had we not won a coinflip). I want something different. This s*** just doesn't work.

I'm serious dude. Very few fans are blessed enough to grow up cheering for a team that wins titles or goes deep in the playoffs more than once or twice a decade. It's what sports is.

Blah. No point of even commenting on Pierre and Pena anymore. This has been one boring ass game. I really don't enjoy watching this team. I do because they're my favorite team. But there's like 10 other teams I enjoy watching more than them.

Last night's game was boring, too.
