Floyd-Ross: This time its personal... Sox @ A's

We don't have very good left-handed relief. This is a surprising twist since I thought it would be so strong.

Pierre very nearly overran that ball.

If I were an opposing hitter with decent to even moderate speed I would try for 2nd on any base hit to LF against the Sox, until Pierre proves he can throw me out.

I knew my baseball at an early age. I've just evolved since then. This team sucks. I'm not even expecting some mammoth run in which they get back to, whoa, .500. Only to s*** their pants for the 9th time in 11 seasons (would've been 10 times had we not won a coinflip). I want something different. This s*** just doesn't work.

You should probably give up sports then and take up knitting.

You can continue to get smart. I meant with this team. I've been sick of KW/Ozzie for over a year now.

I'm serious dude. Very few fans are blessed enough to grow up cheering for a team that wins titles or goes deep in the playoffs more than once or twice a decade. It's what sports is.

You can either embrace that fact or take up selling Longaberger baskets with your aunt.

Bautista just went deep, twins about to lose again. So we aren't in last!! woot!

have to take the rubber match tomorrow. I'll take a 6-3 west coast trip.

Take a look at who they're facing tomorrow. Needed to win this one today.

All that fool does is go deep. My apologies got out to Mr. Bautista. I thought he was a fluke.

Oh good, our offense is in the tank again.

Bring up Tank. NOW!

Blah. No point of even commenting on Pierre and Pena anymore. This has been one boring ass game. I really don't enjoy watching this team. I do because they're my favorite team. But there's like 10 other teams I enjoy watching more than them.

Two good posts.

Last night's game was boring, too.

Sox are slumping at the plate again.

Second post is true, as well. Deep runs are rare.

A win Sunday and it'll be a good road trip. Baby steps.

A loss and it's a rather blah trip again, but at least over .500. 5-4, 4-5, whatever.
