We gave up a young, inexpensive pitcher to get this.

Cy Wells sporting a 6+ era

9 in a row retired by Wells? *sigh*

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 1, 2011 -> 08:29 PM)
Heh.

Just seems like Wells is settling down. Prove me wrong offense!

Wells has a reputation for settling down after being a terrible first inning pitcher. Gotta get to him next few innings before Marshall and Marmol.

Man, that was a quick inning.

My god that was vomit-inducing.

4 pitches. 3 outs.

Unreal.

I guess we'll have to tip our cap to another awful starter afterall.

Ejax has not won a game since last year

False. It's been 3 years.

At least the Sox hitters are aware that the Cubs bullpen just threw 11 innings yesterday and is completely used up. Way to work deep into counts boys. Wells - 8IP, 3 runs. I can see it now.

Rios has to got be benched. Call up De Aza if you have to, but we can't keep giving him playing time.

No s***. This is maddening. Did anyone on the coaching staff mention this to the team?

If you guys are so good at predicting the future, you should lay some bets down. I know sites take in game bets, and Im pretty sure youd get favorable odds if you want to bet the Sox score no more runs today.

I don't think these 2 are getting to that 12.5 run number today.

Doesn't matter how many innings they threw, as most of them were by guys who wouldn't be used in a close game.

ill take my chances with Lillibridge...

wow was that brutal

wells should roll right through 7 now by simply throwing belt high fastballs and watchingthe Sox pop 'em up
