Who'd have thought this in April?

He's real so far. Might as well ride him as long as you can. He's Estaban Loaisa II. He may totally suck next year, but this year he's one of the best in baseball.

The thing that we need to keep an eye on is that his career high in IP is about 148. He is sitting on about 103 as of today. Those numbers include his time in the minors.

Yeah, and considering he seems to hit at times around 90-100 pitches (he did not yesterday), it might be time to start pulling him after 6 innings.

Problem is, so many of his starts he has not given up more than a run or so after 6 innings...

Who's have thought Adam Dunn would be hitting .168 with 7 homers and 29 rbi?

Nice post.

I'd love a rainout this week to give our pitchers a breather. As I mentioned in another thread, tons of stressful innings for them lately.
