No way he wasn't making the team

They would not have brought him up to sit on the bench, which is what would have happened had he started the year on the Big League club.

About 2/3 of the way through spring training.

I knew that. I thought everyone meant he did it again recently.

They weren't going to spend $19 million on the DH position.

Not unless you have Pujols, Fielder, Miguel Cabrera, etc.

This is as good as Buehrle's looked in a long time.

Vintage. It'd be a damn shame to waste it, again.

You seem to forget that he was beating out Q for the position

Quentin the only thing that can happen on an appeal is you get struck out, you cant gain, what are you doing?

I wonder if any White Sox coach ever explained that to him.

Tip you're cap game by buehrle, hate to bring this up but anybody think mark could bring a nice return at the deadline?

I can name 1 football player who was a good baseball player, Bo Jackson.

I can name another on the field today, Joe Mauer, he had a scholarship to Florida State.

Wilson Betemit beat out everyone in MLB in Spring Training the other year and they weren't ever going to start him.

CQ as always going to be the starting RF in their "All In" year, no matter what Dayan did in ST.

Q was gonna start regardless.

So, no football player has ever been a good baseball player, according to Mitch Williams via Ozzie?

Frank Thomas? Bo Jackson?

Frank Thomas was no good, Sox should have never drafted him because he was a TE at Auburn.

And wooo Beckham

We'll agree to disagree

ALL IN

Don't worry guys, Brent Morel has this...and by has this, I mean he will roll up a breaking pitch the left side for an out.

That was sweet by Beckham

We need a wild pitch.

IMO Gardenhire shouldnt let duensing face our lineup 3x, he should bring in the pen in the 6th.. lets see what happens

Gardy should read soxtalk!

Doubtful even Lillibridge could have scored on that had they pinch-run him.

Maybe...10% shot.

Why we even expect a 2 out hit with RISP is beyond me. Morel needs to go to AAA, though. He comes up looking curveballs and gets fastballs and gets down in the count nearly every at-bat these days. In some ways, he's worse than Dunn because Dunn MIGHT get into one and can also take a walk.

Vintage Beckham, and I mean vintage by his Georgia days.

Mitch basically called Ozzie an idiot for not pinch running Castro.

I disagree. They would have at least tried, but I think Lilli does score.

Holy cow he is so awful! I can't believe he still has some supporters.
