Crain threw a ton of pitches last night. Hope he still has something left in the tank. A double play would be delightful right here

probably 1/2 of his contract has been paid by insurance since we acquired him, fwiw.

How do you know this? If that is true, that's a helluva insurance policy. The guy has been able to pitch some, albeit in mediocre fashion.

Alex Rios is going to walk this off in the 9th

That's ridiculous, your last name is Guillen

Stay fair. s*** that hurts.

I want to say in advance that I don't like the idea of using Crain after all he did yesterday.

Damn, had him leaning. Close.

At the game last night, I thought it was ridiculous that he was brought out to start the next inning.

This is why the 6 man rotation hurts, you just dont have the pen depth of another team.

Crain is a competitor. I'll say this even if this guy homers.

Crain got away with one there

i know he's been hurt, bug CG is scary here

Uh, oh. You guys may be right. That was way wide and high. All he gots is a fastball tonite?

Wow, that was a massive hanger.

On a sidenote, I don't think peavy did all that bad. He had a rough 6th, but part of that was a bunt single and a bloop by Cabrera. Can't really gripe there. Maggs hit him hard and Victor turned on a high fastball (not a bad pitch). By and large, Peavy had good velocity and solid command and was pitching a damn good game through 5.

People clearly have higher expectations due to his contract, but he is doing nothing but getting better and I expect him to be more consistent next year as his arm and body should be in better game shape next year.

I dont love this match up as Crains been high in the zone so far.

1 more, JC

Crain scares me tonight, but like I said u can't deny what a competitor he is.

Thorty time.

Thornton is in the game.... last appearance in a sox uniform?

Edited by beckham15
