I like that Walker had a couple of assists, throwing a guy out trying to stretch a single into a double and throwing a runner out at 3rd trying to advance on a single. It would seem his arm is just fine. Gotta like that.
August 13, 201114 yr Nice to see Mitchell/Thompson both leading their respective leagues in Ks. And Walker seems to be of the same ilk. Good lord this franchise is bad at drafting. Really, really, bad.

Teams that were generally ranked below them, like the Brewers and Astros, have seen really good years for their minor leaguers and/or traded for prospects.

Like you said, the Brewers and Astros have been jolted by this year's draft and trades. I can't imagine another system worse than ours as of right now.
