Philip Humber has a target on his back.

Gameday. Did he get hit again or catch a liner right at him?

One hopper bounced off his thigh.

A target for sure

2-0 Sox. Still we left a runner is scoring position with less than two outs

De Aza was out by a mile on that CS.

Sox team speed reeks always.

Wonder if the new regime will get speedier.

Wouldn't be so noticeable if we returned to bashing a ton of home runs. Only Lilly and Paulie and CQ have that home run stroke.

You ever think it's cause Ozzie's too predictable with sending his runners with two outs?

On the first pitch as always.

If LaRussa comes to the Sox, we'll see a huge improvement in how our pitchers hold on runners, as well as better strategy with regards to throwing behind runners, etc.

Does Viciedo seriously lead off every single inning? I mean, he he hitting nearly .500, and only has 1 RBI that didn't come on a HR. He always hits leadoff or with no one on base for him. Wish he was batting 4th, or 3rd at this point.

Can we petition the MLB to give some of Rios' money to De Aza. Dude has been playing great since his call-up.

Not to start this up, but is there any reason to believe he would come to Chicago in any scenario where he's managing the Sox instead of the Cubs? Why would he want the leftover team? Just cause of Jerry, his buddy? How close are Jerry and LaRussa anyway? Isn't Jerry about 80 years old?

6 IP, 5 K's, 4 hits, only a handful of balls hit hard off of Philip, 0 ER.

Glad to see Phil pitching well today. Hope he makes some paper next year from someone. He's pitched well for the great majority of the year.

How long will Humber go?

Will the bullpen implode so we are an even 10 games out entering tonight's game?

Hilarious that this team is so far out of first.

Oh good we get to see Adam against a lousy righty try to go 0-for-3.

Huh?

He's still pre-arb. The White Sox can simply renew his contract.

I was afarid the league had caught up wioth Humber, or he had a dead arm, but today he is showing why he should be in the rotation next year

Dead arm for sure. The guy is at a career high for IP with all them coming at the major league level this year.

Well he did hit hard to CF in at bat #2

Maybe Adam will draw a walk. 2-0.

He probably did have a dead arm. He's now at 137.1 major league innings on the year, when he's done 140 in each of the last couple seasons but mostly in the minors.

Yes, he has a good r'ship with Jerry.

Hey, Dunn has put the ball in play twice!1
