August 10, 200322 yr Lily is a lefty Rowand is 2/3 lifetime He has filled th line up with right batters no prob with that
August 10, 200322 yr We've got action! 6-2, bases loaded, and Mr. Franchise representing the tying run with one down! We need to get at least 2 more.
August 10, 200322 yr Lily is a lefty Rowand is 2/3 lifetime He has filled th line up with right batters no prob with that That's fine, but I thought the big thing about both Everett and Robbie was that they are switch hitters. Not a big advantage if the great Ted Lilly sends them scurrying to the bench. Also, Mulder is a lefty, I believe, and they played last night. Or at least Everett did. Not positive about Robbie. Couldn't see the game here in Peorialand.

August 10, 200322 yr maybe we can rally against Foulke. saw foulke give it up quite a few times last season. that would really set a tone for the rest of the season. the man knows how to throw the long ball, we know that

August 10, 200322 yr Id just like to add......................no killer instinct. This team is frustrating.
August 10, 200322 yr Game ain't over yet. Get Garland out, get Schow or Wright in, and hope the offense can come back with 10 runs in the last 7 innings I've seen stranger things. Anyone remember last year against the Cubs? Down 8-0 after 3, came back and won 13-9. We can do it. And they had Kerry Wood on the hill, the A's have Ted Lilly. Our lineup kills lefties. This game ain't over yet. Dude, your watching too much Beavis and Butthead Hey, I didn't say I thought we were going to win. I just said the game wasn't over. And Beavis and Butthead is, quite possibly, the greatest cartoon ever created.
August 10, 200322 yr I feel like that first inning was a real momentum killer. Overall this team can lose all its momentum in a game if they give up a walk, an error, and a clutch hit in one inning.

August 10, 200322 yr Bottom of 8 -Chad Harville in for Ricardo Rincon -Thomas flies out to left center -Ordonez pops out to 2nd -Lee singles to center -Konerko strikes out on a foul tip 6-2 A's heading to the 9th
August 10, 200322 yr when was the last time Koch pitched in a game without allowing a hit spring training? last season? In Toronto? at Clemson?
August 10, 200322 yr Top of 9 -Billy Koch in for Scott Schoeneweis -Tejada grounds out to short -Durazo flies out to center -Hernandez Homerun to left, pathetic 7-2 A's -Long singles to right -Ellis flies out to left 7-2 A's after 8 and a half Koch doing nothing to warrant a shot at closing, but apparently he was throwing pretty hard
August 10, 200322 yr Koch doing nothing to warrant a shot at closing, but apparently he was throwing pretty hard 91-93 on the FSN gun. And that HR was absolutely ripped. Botch sucks. Plain and simple. How many times is JM gonna trot this guy out only to get smoked? First Place felt good for about 24 hours BTW..... Minnesota just put up a 4-spot :puke
August 10, 200322 yr well........as long as we come back strong tommorow, I can call this a succesfull weekend.
August 10, 200322 yr Bottom of 9 -Keith Foulke replaces Chad Harville -Crede singles to center -Valentin Ks swinging on 4 pitches -Harris flies out to center -Alomar Jr. Ks swinging on 11 pitches 7-2 Final WP- Chad Bradford 6-3 LP - Jon Garland 8-8
August 10, 200322 yr 91-93 on the FSN gun. And that HR was absolutely ripped. Botch sucks. Plain and simple. How many times is JM gonna trot this guy out only to get smoked? First Place felt good for about 24 hours BTW..... Minnesota just put up a 4-spot :puke According the FSN he threw one pitch at 97 MPH, and its the one Tejada grounded out with. Since FSN was consistent with the speeds all night I have to believe it. But it gets overlooked when he gives up HRs.
