Second game this season where 76ers just crushed the Bulls in the 3rd.

 

I still think the Bulls are the better team, this was just a perfect storm for the 76ers.

I'll say it right now (and I'm sure I'll be reminded that I've been wrong in the past): I'll be surprised if the Bulls don't lose both games in Philly before they get back home. With the Rose injury and a total ass-whoopin' at home, their confidence has to be on fumes right now.

 

Bulls have a better team. They just came out flat in the second half. I expect all the games to be close. I still expect the Bulls to win the series even tho everybody will now go into panic mode tomorrow.

Oh, and I've just learned Tyson Chandler has won DPOY. Yes, I was wrong about the Knicks overall. But I had solid reasoning for thinking they could be elite. Tyson was one of them. If Carmelo doesn't shoot 38% for nearly 40 games, and if Amare doesn't have easily the worst year of his career, I could've very well been right.

Evan Turner has changed everything for them. His scoring/playmaking is something that coming in you weren't really concerned about.

Had they just played remotely repeatable basketball in the half-court it would have been a pretty close game. Oh well, I hope Thibs gets them ready for the next one. Philly is in an awesome mindset right now, we need to hit them in the mouth and show them they don't belong. Credit their coaching for instilling that belief in them, it really showed in the way they played.

DRose coming out with the game ball was kind of dumb. I fully expect them to be focused on the road as they are one of the best road teams in the NBA.

Wrong again. I said they had a case for second best team after the Heat. I never said they were definitively better than the Bulls. And what do you mean spoil the finals for me? lol. Oh yeah, my Heat, baby. I love them. Please. And Zoom, Kyyle, etc, were in here saying that I was overrating Chandler and that he wasn't that good.

So the only silver lining is that the Bulls won all year so they would have the weakest 1st round opponent. If you were going to lose your identity and get smoked on defense, the best time for it is the first round.

 

Just hope this focuses the team on clean play and defense, because they dont need to be flashy.

Boozer and Noah both disappeared due to horrible PG play. Watson and Lucas were abortions

The offense was atrocious in the 2nd half. Defense was foul. That was terrible. The one on one play that I saw after a good offensive first half was just disgusting. Noah was money in the 1st half too and I want to see more of that cause he has the opportunity to do that all the time.

 

Really really disgusted. Normally i'd say its just a loss, but given the mental beatdown this team has taken, I'm sure they will have a lot of doubt in there mind. They need to get past it and play strong in game 3 on Friday.

It actually may be a blessing to get away from the United Center because it just seemed to have no energy.

Tyson has always been a fantastic defensive player, there is no doubt about this. If you want credit for calling your shot, and if you did call that shot early this season, then congrats. Honestly, good call.

If I disagreed that Chandler is an elite defender, well then I don't recall doing such. I've always felt Tyson was a legit defender. You were right, but he's a pretty known commodity on the defensive side of the ball.
