Crain on to pitch the 3rd

lol at melton...."crain was fighting influenza. Well not influenza, but the flu, some sort of virus"

AJ is just looking awful behind the plate.

2 out RBi single makes it 4-0.

Crain ends the top of 3, still 4-0 MIL.

Anyone else know who's scheduled to pitch for the Sox today?

Axelrod in and promptly gives up 2 more runs and the only recorded out is a sacrifice. Not good.

Zach Stewart is said to be the next pitcher to come in.

Ugh. Anyone else's stomach sink when they saw Mitchell chasing a ball near the wall? Bad memories man.

2 more runs in on a triple that was poorly played by JorDanks in my opinion. Melton disagrees, but it is now 8 - 0.

We are doomed :stick

the lack of depth in the organization is mind blowing

Two s***ty Spring Trainings in a row led to horrible starts to the season.

So far Robin is right on track :(

I'm so not the guy to ever put stock in Spring Training records, but for this team of freakin headcases Spring Records seems to translate into the Regular Season and April is lost before you even know it...

Axelrod looked much better than inning.

Nice HR by Mitchell.

Damn, I missed it.

Yep. That's why they have to be 100% right on Jo. Danks, Sale, and Molina

AJ has to be up over 10 pitches in this AB.

And he goes the other way for the RBI double. Real nice AB.

Jordan Danks? He's a 4th/5th OF with his strikeout rate. It's also completely unrealistic to hit on every top prospect. It's why farm system depth is so necessary. Prospects bust. Quite frequently in fact. You can't just grab two or three guys you like and call it a day. What if Molina is a middle of the rotation guy or even a reliever like many scouts believe? What if Sale is the same? I can tell you that the chances that both players end up as top of the rotation starters is very remote.

Stewart lost his hair.

No more long hair for Stewart? He's gonna get rocked....

So Bill, Candy Maldonado not only played for the Sox (he never did) he drove in 120 runs one year? (He career high was 95 with Cleveland) Sure he did....
