May 8, 201312 yr QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 8, 2013 -> 07:25 PM) http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballn...chups-announced There is the schedule. Is it just me or does Iowa/ND sound really dull. As opposed to UVa/Wisconsin? Lowest O/U ever?
May 8, 201312 yr Wisconsin always gets terrible games. They played UVA this year. At least it has the story line of "Tony Bennett", but id rather Wisconsin play an up tempo team for a clash of styles, especially instead of a rematch.
May 8, 201312 yr I would have preferred Illinois/ND You want no part of Notre Dame in December. December-January are ND's best months. Of course they always suck in March but they're absolutely awesome in December. Mike Brey is Mr. December.

Of course they always suck in March but they're absolutely awesome in December. Mike Brey is Mr. December. I don't even care from a winning standpoint, more from an interest standpoint. Plus, with Groce I'm not exactly afraid of being outcoached by Brey. Maybe outmanned.
May 8, 201312 yr I have to imagine the Big10 had to do some posturing to ensure that Maryland wasnt left out.
May 8, 201312 yr QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 8, 2013 -> 01:51 PM) I have to imagine the Big10 had to do some posturing to ensure that Maryland wasnt left out. Yeah but dont they usually line them up by success the prior year? OSU finished second in the regular season and won the conference tourney title. Duke, Miami or UNC makes alot more sense.
May 8, 201312 yr Prediction Tuesday, Dec. 3 Florida State at Minnesota Illinois at Georgia Tech Indiana at Syracuse Michigan at Duke Notre Dame at Iowa Penn State at Pittsburgh Wednesday, Dec. 4 Boston College at Purdue Maryland at Ohio State Miami, FL at Nebraska North Carolina at Michigan State Northwestern at North Carolina State Wisconsin at Virginia
May 8, 201312 yr QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 8, 2013 -> 05:07 PM) After hearing Groce...I will be shocked if Henry doesn't transfer. hearing him where? what did he say? i thought it was already official?
May 8, 201312 yr I've seen nothing official, though it seems everything but. Thomas, Groce, Beckman on 670 (still going).

May 8, 201312 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 8, 2013 -> 06:00 PM) I liked them talking about how creepy of a person Tom Crean is. Well, he does drink his own piss during games.....
May 8, 201312 yr QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 8, 2013 -> 06:17 PM) Well, he does drink his own piss during games..... And his piss is brown.
May 9, 201312 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 8, 2013 -> 06:00 PM) I liked them talking about how creepy of a person Tom Crean is. What'd they say? Just that, or did they give examples? Just curious what was said. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 8, 2013 -> 06:17 PM) Well, he does drink his own piss during games..... I remember a year or two ago, there were a bunch of questions on the forums asking what the hell was in that water bottle. Apparently it's some herbal uber energy drink or something. It looks disgusting.

Yes, it's some sort of supplement pill or something that the managers mix into his water before the game.
May 9, 201312 yr "Illinois rule" going into play, as well as verbage on block/charge changing: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball...lock-violations

May 9, 201312 yr Agreed, though I feel like that call will always be subjective...this just tilts it so more blocks are called in the future (in theory), which should be happening now anyway.
May 9, 201312 yr Too bad they couldn't get the shot clock lowered. 35 is way too much. Doesn't need to be 24, but maybe 30 would work.

Agreed, no reason not to move it to 30. 35 is way too long, so much standing around. If I wanted standing around, I'd go watch HS basketball.
