Mark Few, what are you doing? Does he not know the huge advantage he has?

They have a huge size advantage on the inside yet they're doing almost everything they can not to take high percentage shots on the inside.

Illini are playing too conservatively. They're trying to dribble down the shot clock when there's still 5 minutes left. That won't win you games.

And foul trouble 3 minutes into the 2nd half

Dreadful call.

Dreadful call.

It would have been great if Leonard stayed. We really lack big bodies on the inside. Igwu is the only guy over 6'9.

I still don't ever understand a zone for Illinois. Three elite perimeter defenders and Egwu and McLaurin are solid down low. Stop.

That call on Tyler Griffey was just truly awful. They've been bad both ways for sure, but the fouls on our big guys could be what really affects the result.

AND Igwu's gone.

And then Egwu does that. Really terrible, have to be smarter than that.

Egwu fouls out fifty feet away from the basket.

I don't think I've ever seen a defense (Gonzaga) that was so bad at preventing the opposition from driving to their right for an easy layup. You'd think after the 20th time of it happening, they'd make the Illini offensive player go to their left.

Tough call there, just being physical, but you have to be smart. Stupid foul

John Groce = Robin Ventura

My goodness BP3!

Wow, bp3! The most impressive player in the big ten so far this year.

I have no idea how he learned to finish so well. For 3 years he could get to the rim like no other and NEVER make the shot.

Illinois still overrated? lol

Best win of anyone this season?

Duke over Louisville on neutral court

Great win for Illinois. They needed a big game from Paul, and he delivered.

Aaaaaaaaand we're a top 10 team. We won't end that way, but I don't give a f***. We completely deserve to be there right now.

There's your "Illinois hasn't beaten anyone" win. No way I thought we'd win this game, completely set up for a loss. 12 point dogs.

This team is for real.

Thoroughly satisfied.

Now we HAVE to beat Mizzou

No one gets less out of top talent than Few does.

I would say Rick Barnes and it's not close. Gonzaga generally does seem to be "decent" with good players, but they're not exactly pulling down top-50 recruits with regularity like Texas is.
