April 28, 201213 yr QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 09:05 PM) Could they move Indonije inside? That would leave them Melton and Idonijie at DT? Yes they certainly could...but then they would be back to needing Wooten to stay healthy and need Idonijie to put on some weight.
April 28, 201213 yr Yeah I mean its not ideal, in a perfect world the Bears take a DT in the 2nd and then get a WR later on. After they added Marshall they didnt really need to spend a high pick on WR. Maybe they get Crick in the 3/4th who knows, they still need at least 1 o-lineman and some dbs. April 28, 201213 yr Could they move Indonije inside? That would leave them Melton and Idonijie at DT? That's quite the undersized defensive line.
April 28, 201213 yr Yeah I dont like it at all, just what else can the Bears be thinking? Worthy falls into your lap in the 2nd (he had a 1/2 grade) and you pass on him?
April 28, 201213 yr QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 08:05 PM) Could they move Indonije inside? That would leave them Melton and Idonijie at DT? They also have Paea.
April 28, 201213 yr Yeah I guess they are hoping Paea can really step it up. I still think they are taking a huge risk not getting a bigger d lineman.
April 28, 201213 yr This team had way too many needs on offense to go straight defensive line in the 1st two rounds.
April 28, 201213 yr Duke. Well I disagree with that philosophy, I would pick players I think can start and will be good regardless of position (as long as my team isnt ridiculously loaded there.) Right now the Bears added Marshall, they didnt really need a WR in the 2nd when there would be plenty of decent ones available in 3 or 4. Not only that, but rookie WR historically under produce. April 28, 201213 yr QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) I don't quite understand the Colts taking a second TE Wait, Indy took a 2nd TE?
April 28, 201213 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Wait, Indy took a 2nd TE? Yes. Yes they did. I hope he plays defense.
April 28, 201213 yr QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 09:38 PM) Yes. Yes they did. I hope he plays defense. I know you have to play a 2+ year rebuilding plan around Luck with them, I'm just surprised that the offense position they'd go for wtih him is TE. Patriots emulation.

Patriots emulation. Not that they couldn't use a second TE but I'm not sure why they do it in round 3.
April 28, 201213 yr Will bears take massie? Lots of mocks had him as a late riser hitting the 1st round recently
April 28, 201213 yr QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 09:55 PM) sign Matt Flynn, draft a QB in the 3rd round. Glad I'm not a Seattle fan. Hey, if Tavaris Jackson is your QB...
April 28, 201213 yr If Russel Wilson was a few inches taller he would have easily gone before Weeden. Well see what happens, but Wisconsin had a huge OL and he really didnt get a lot of passes knocked down. At least he may get a shot.
April 28, 201213 yr Gotta be Massie, Boykin, Flemming, or Thompson.....Orson Charles would be awesome but not gonna happen
April 28, 201213 yr Its so odd how quick the draft goes. They used to waste 15 minutes ducking around, now the pick is in before they can even do the highlights.
April 28, 201213 yr I know nothing about Hardin. Not sure I see the need for that pick with Massie and Thompson still on the board
