Great post. Short, sweet and mocks this organization as it deserves to be mocked!

Bye bye Smyly

Greg, it truly sounds like it's something they decided they had to do before his elbow exploded.

Didn't they take all this into consideration before they made him a starter? Now that he's a starter, let him start. If he has to stretch the arm out a year in the minors, fine. I still say Nolan Ryan is laughing his ass off. Think his arm didn't hurt at times? Now I insist they should have re-signed Buehrle. Oh wait, the Sox are too cash-strapped to do that. Now a dominant starter is gone to the pen.

Greg, this team is not a "Mark Buehrle" away from being a top team.

Maybe an Albert Pujols away.

Oh wait he sucks now

surprised that Cabrera didn't crush that 84mph cutter

It wouldn't have mattered had they signed Buehrle instead of Danks. We'd still be in the same basic position.

They simply couldn't afford both. Attendance would be the same, that wouldn't matter. You're never going to see any major league team risking that kind of a contract on a pitcher in his 30's over one in what should be the prime of his career.

Had Fielder looking low and away and then came back high and over the middle...just high enough, and just enough juice/movement.

Peavy really isn't getting that outside corner tonight.

JFP IS NOT AFRAID

My point it is an insult to the fan base to hype Sale as a starter, let Mark walk, and now have no replacement. We have to put some hack in there to replace an all-star starter in Sale. Yes Sale was looking like an all star.

Gordon should have to do a lap for that toss to 1st.

Peavy continuing to pitch his ass off. Anyone have his pitch count?

you're right, I do feel affronted by the Chicago White Sox organization in general, and their parking attendants in particular. That guy Manny in Lot C....argh, don't get me started.

Dotel is in.

Time to bash one of my least favorite Sox of all time.

I think they're really oversensitive now after what happened with Peavy's ankle injury and the argument it led to his lat problem.

The thing that doesn't make sense is not shutting him down for two weeks or DLing him. How putting him in the bullpen is going to prevent him from having an injury at some point is beyond me.

Don't be at the White Sox, be mad at Sale's elbow.

Whoever is preparing his meals may have a share in this blame as well :lolhitting

Pretty sick numbers for Dotel this year.
