Lead did not last long.

Jackson trying to avenge yesterdqays game failure. Dunn still smacking em out. Gotta luv the Big Donkey and Dylan not wanting to make Danks feel left out

Sucks for Axelrod to have to make this start after being out of the rotation for a couple weeks, not to mention against this lineup. I think he'll give us a chance to win, especially if he just gets this last out.

Nice recovery by Dayan, reminds me of Quentin out there lol

Don't jinx him ! Don't want him injured.

Are you telling me this guy is going to be our 5th starter the rest of the year? 2004 here we come again? Ughhhh

Not if he plays poorly

If he gets crushed, I think we'll see KW eager to call up Molina

Molina

lollerz. all this talk of not wanting to rush guys - he's been in AA for a month and has a 3.72 ERA. consider me not quite sold.

Thatta boy Dayan, now I'd just like to see you hit a fastball

His fastball is similar to that of Axelrod's.

Flowers takes so many strikes, only to swing at balls. No way can I see the Sox giving him the starting nod next year.

Our batters are basically walking to the plate with an 0-2 count right now

Seems that he is not pitching as bad as some have made it be on this forum? And his control apparently is there. Unless Axelrod is pinpoint he's going to get shellacked

AJ for two more years

Reports from someone who's seen him pitch haven't been stellar. However, I think it was Chuck Garfein who speculated the other day that Molina could be up soon.

Well from watching him I think he is about as good as he is going to get.

3.72 era in AA is not super great. the jury's out

Did Steve Stone just call Peralta a "fantastic SS?" He's been hanging out with Hawk too long. That's insane.

Has Molina lost fastball velocity or something? He was supposed to be a 92-95 guy with movement
