Sucks for Axelrod to have to make this start after being out of the rotation for a couple weeks, not to mention against this lineup. I think he'll give us a chance to win, especially if he just gets this last out.

Flowers takes so many strikes, only to swing at balls. No way can I see the Sox giving him the starting nod next year.

Reports from someone who's seen him pitch haven't been stellar. However, I think it was Chuck Garfein who speculated the other day that Molina could be up soon.
