Konerko had same procedure as last year where loose fragment in left wrist is flushed to a less painful spot. He should be ready Wed.

Whenever he gets these things, doesn't he go on a hot streak?

Why not just remove it in the offseason? Is this a perpetual issue?

I think it was only flushed once last year, and will be flushed once this year. Takes a day or two, so I guess it's not big enough of a deal to have surgery to try and remove a tiny fragment.
