He was the 3rd youngest player in the league entering the season and is a middle infielder. Not sure why you think a lack of power is surprising.

That is impressive about Thompson, to rehash a Hawk quote, "Don't tell me what you hit, but when you hit it."

Agreed. The kid turns 20 later this month, played well last year. I have never seen him play, but he's gotta be considered a prospect, based on his offensive stats.

Yeah, I think Carlos has replaced TSalad as our best infield prospect. Plenty young to develop sufficient power going forward.

And he doesn't even need to develop that much power if his plate discipline continues to improve. What I love about him compared to someone like Eduardo Escobar is that he's able to draw walks fairly well, even at such a young age. That makes me believe he'll continue to improve in that area.
