Especially with all the days off coming up.

Precisely my point. No one in the pen is going to pitch for four days after this game. You can abuse the entire bullpen today and it won't matter.

Honestly, I thought Sale should have started and gone 5 innings or so today. You could have easily pulled him two innings earlier in his last game, and then just had him miss the ASG.

Today's a heavy cardio day for Alejandro in the outfield.

Thanks for being terrible, Lind!

I'm not sure how many people remember this, but in 1990 there was a shortened spring training due to a labor stoppage IIRC, and MLB decided to start the regular season at the regular time despite not much time teams had to get prepared in ST.

Anyhow, it forced most teams to just run a new pitcher out there every 2-3 innings for the first month of the season or so until the SP's could get their arm strength built up. It actually worked out quite well for us in the beginning of that year!

We need to follow this plan of attack today. No more than 3 IP for Axelrod. Let's use our pen today and see what happens.

I notice that our players are literally wearing red sox today...

don't understand the point of these uniforms at all

Dammit Dylan, you suck hard.

Sox scouting the Marlins/Cardinals series.

Hawk criticizing us not using the pen today.

Pathetic

Hawk officially annoyed at Axe being in there.

Hawk finally acknowledges Ventura's terrible managing today.

Save that pen Robin!

Just awful strategy by Ventura, no excuses. Even Hawk is livid.

Please vacate the area Axelrod.

Well, Humber will be back it seems.

Now he gets the out. What a scrub.

This is worse than the Neal Cotts/Manuel disaster

Pull this assclown ...............down 7-3 nobody up in pen yet. I know you are a rookie manager RV but WTF!

6.59 ERA...goes to show you how awful AAA hitting is

If a quality start is going 6 or more while allowing 3 runs are less. I don't know what to go going 3 innings or less while allowing 6 runs or more.

I still don't f***ing get why would they give a rookie a shot with 3 days res ... teams are even hesitant giving veterans 3 days rest starts

If Axelrod starts the 4th inning, it's like we are literally TRYING to lose this game. Embarassing.
