Yeah the pitch to Ross got too much of the plate, but the Ellsbury hit was just poked at and Crawford was sawed off and found a hole. Hell even the double from Ellsbury in the first is probably an out in every other park

 

That said his stuff is certainly not overwhelming, but he hasn't been as bad as others here are saying

I hear ya. Sad though for a first [lace team to go into a series just hoping to win 1 in a 4 game series. But, injuries happen and it's up to the GM to improvise on the fly.

I still like Hernandez so far. Made a bad pitch or two, but he's a rookie that just jumped two levels. It happens. I like his approach and his stuff and command are good enough. We'll see him again.

It'd be nice to get the split. I figured Youk would be the key to getting a split at least instead of the obligatory 3 of 4 or 4 of 4 when we travel to Boston and/or New York.

No. Just this one. Certain games feel lost before they start, other feel lost when you fall behind early, then there are others that feel like you are gonna come back. This one feels like it is over and that we aren't gonna score again. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Haa haaaa yep OVA. Hopefully Quintana can pitch a good one tomorrow and we can split, and we can go into Detroit up at least 2.5. Williams needs to pickup a starter and reliever though quick, and a backup catcher would be nice also.
