Looks that way. Hooray for afternoon Baseball

I think it's safe to say that Cameron Bayne has absolutely NO CONTROL. Wow.

I think it's safe to say Bayne is only in the rotation to eat innings. He is pure garbage.

Morel 3-4, 3 doubles (got picked off once)

Thompson homered

Solid start for Axelrod. Allowed 3 BB, but only 1 H and 1 ER to 6 K.

DeMichelle continuing to beast at Kanny, between him and Sanchez we have options should Gordon be traded/benched.

Mitchell with a 2b for CHA, too.

Next time the Sox need a reliever from the minors, I'm starting to think we may see Brandon Kloess.

Except those dudes aren't even close to the majors yet.

I hope it's Veal first.

Keep an eye on Micah Johnson, too.

Sanchez is within a year I think. The way he's hitting AA now he could start 2013 in AAA.

Veal is a lefty, Kloess is a righty. I doubt they're competing for a spot with each other.

Obviously seeing as neither of them are 22 yet. But they have plenty of potential, that is for sure

I'm just saying I wouldn't call them viable options until they are a phone call away from being a major leaguer.

He's a good guy, but no.

Why? And if you were to choose a RH reliever to come up next, who would you choose?

Heath

Sanchez needs to develop another positive tool.

He doesn't have much power and he's not a very good fielder and he's not super fast.

That means he has to hit 300+ and take a ton of walks to compensate for all of his other weaknesses.

What makes you think he is a "not very good fielder"? Because the reports I've read say the opposite.

Everything I've read projects him to be an average or slightly below average major league middle infielder, especially range and arm-wise.

Maybe he can practice and practice and practice like Ventura did and make it into an asset.

You sure those weren't talking about him at SS? Where he played originally?

He'd get shelled in the majors. I like him, he's a fellow Alabamian, but he's probably a AAAA player at best. I guess whomever hasn't gotten a shot yet.

Can't live and die by reports.
