August 11, 201213 yr I am at game in Charlotte tonight. Johnson had a mammoth bomb and great hustle play running to first to keep big inning alive. Hope he gets call.

August 11, 201213 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 10:37 PM) Did you see Brent Morel at all? No sign of him at all. Sorry for the delayed response as my iPad was out of juice. Omogrosso was bad, gave up all his hits on breaking balls. They had designs of new stadium and it looks cool.
August 11, 201213 yr It's interesting how Snodgress was alright in Low-A, and just dominating High-A. Must not be much of a talent level jump then? He is giving up HR at a faster rate, but that's about it.
August 12, 201213 yr QUOTE (BlackBetsy @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 05:32 PM) I think Remenosky may make the Southern League Hall of Fame. I said in his AAP thread, I don't get why they sent him back down so quick. 9 games? His peripherals are a lot better this time than his stint last year in AAA. He obviously has nothing left to prove in AA. Just seems weird to me. I think you need to keep him in AAA, and see if he can make the adjustments.

I think you need to keep him in AAA, and see if he can make the adjustments. The Sox have a ton of 4A and prospects in that pen at Charlotte. It is easy to say he should be a Charlotte, but he isn't going to replace a guy who is on the 40 man roster, so that eliminates most of the spots right there. After that you have to eliminate any starters as well, because Rem is coming out of the pen. That leaves someone like Shane Lindsay or Brandon Kloess. The White Sox seemed to like Lindsay, as he did get a couple of coffee with them, but he has been pretty bad. Kloess is having a pretty solid year up there. There really isn't a spot for him right now.
