October 18, 201213 yr Soxfest should be at McCormick Place. Brewers and Pirates have thier fests in actual convention centers. Those same convention centers had enough room for the MLB All-Star Fanfests that were in milwaukee(2002) and pitt(2006). AND, the brewers give you FREE game tickets for your $15 brewersfest ticket purchase.

November 2, 201213 yr Really, the most fun was had after-hours at the bar hanging out with fellow sox fans and chatting with the players when they came down. From what I've heard, that doesn't happen much anymore. The town meetings with Sox brass was always interesting as well. Getting the actual autographs was probably 3rd on my list. Although I managed to get a picture with Hawk and DJ one year where they actually game out from behind the table and stood on either side of me. Their line was always much, much shorter. I've also got a couple of blackmail pics of a friend of mine with Frank Thomas and Aaron Rowand. He's a Cubs fan. Edited November 2, 201213 yr by Iwritecode
