January 23, 201313 yr I saw that and was going to post it as well. I guess he learned how to understand and speak english over the last few years. What a clown.
January 23, 201313 yr Sammy kind of looks like a vampire. And by that I mean, even past the gelled hair and the nice sweaters and suits, he looks terrible.
January 23, 201313 yr Has a city turned on an athlete they ADORED any faster than the Chicago Cub fans disowned Sosa? I mean 10+ years ago he could do NO WRONG and now they're trying to airbrush him out of the history of Chicago Sports...
January 24, 201313 yr All time favorite Sammy Sosa moment (and Mark Buehrle moment for that matter) was watching Buehrle pick him after he took a BB to become the only Texas baserunner in what otherwise would have been a perfect game. Picking people off was Buehrle's MO, and Sammy Sosa was the Cubs as I was growing up. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. One of a few reasons I'm more fond of the No-Hitter than the Perfect Game. Just noticed the caption under the picture: Former Cubs star Sammy Sosa is trying to rebuild his image. Great stuff. January 24, 201313 yr Sammy speaks English, and does everything but admit that he used steroids http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sosa-says-mcg...54874--mlb.html ''I'm not going to come here and say anything that is going to jeopardize my future,'' he added. ''But definitely time will determine everything. Right now whatever it is, it is. I am not (somebody who) is going to go out there and say anything I don't want to say. I'm waiting for my time. ... I don't like controversy. Definitely time will determine everything.'' That's pretty damn close to an admission for me.
