May 10, 201312 yr http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20130510 Micah Johnson leadoff double. Of course he stole 3rd. That's 30.
May 11, 201312 yr Author Johnson, 2-2, BB, 2 steals, got picked off With Sanchez, Semien, and DeMichele in front of him, I don't know what they can do to move him up the line. Semien not in the lineup today. Still don't know why he came out of the lineup Thursday.
May 11, 201312 yr LOL at the Charlotte Knights' line-up tonight. Just all kinds of bad. Castro with a quality start. Trayce Thompson with a typical line for him when he's going bad, 0/4, 3 K's. Walker back below .200. DeMichele barely over that mark. Bassitt 6 IP, 2 ER (3 R) but 9 hits. Snodgress also pitching decently but not striking anyone out.
May 11, 201312 yr Andy Wilkins continuing his nice season in BIR. Hitting .305, OBP around .400, has 4 HR, .830-.840 OPS. Caulfield, I'm not sure where you got that Bassit line from, but my boxscore says 5 IP, 7 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 5 K. Lowers his ERA to 1.71. Flavum, that was MICHAEL Johnson that got picked off, not Micah. Micah ends his night 2/4 with 1 BB, 2 SB. Hitting .310 now.
May 11, 201312 yr Author Ah, ok. Thanks. That has to be as confusing as a spanish person ordering seltzer at a restaurant. I thought you said seltzer! Edited May 11, 201312 yr by flavum
May 11, 201312 yr Make that four Ks for Thompson. but Castro good. Snodgrass decent. and Micah being Micah.
May 11, 201312 yr QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ May 10, 2013 -> 05:27 PM) Micah Johnson === baller. Starting to get excited about this guy. 10 stolen bases in the last 3 games!!!!! I read where he is employing an unusual technique. He walks toward second, and just keeps going. It gives him momentum. I can't seem to find the article, but it was interesting. At any rate, he is still experimenting, but it seems to be working. You think? Wow. Here is the article: http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=2...;vkey=news_milb Edited May 11, 201312 yr by Lillian

Glad to see Johnson, who was highly regarded before his last college season, so successful right now.
May 11, 201312 yr QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ May 10, 2013 -> 06:27 PM) Micah Johnson === baller. Starting to get excited about this guy. Maybe its just my natural cynicism of all things White Sox minor leagues now (I was burned too many times in the past being uber optimistic), but I honestly cannot get excited over any prospect we have, maybe beside Erik Johnson.

May 12, 201312 yr QUOTE (fathom @ May 11, 2013 -> 03:56 PM) The Brian Roberts technique And go figure the advice came from Roberts' dad. Any time you can copy the techniques of a base stealer with an 80% success rate, do it.
