June 6, 201312 yr Creating this thread due to the following concerns: QUOTE (mike89128 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 02:19 PM) This is way off topic.I've been a Sox fan since 1951.Living in Vegas I get MLB extra Innings package. But the west coast teams, except Seattle are blacked out in Vegas when the Sox play them regardless where played, the Oakland series is blacked out.I've heard MLB is going to revamp its blackout rules for next year.Does anybody have facts about the changes. Thanks
June 6, 201312 yr MLB and FOX TV have been getting at least 3-5 emails a year (each) from me demanding that they allow extra innings subscribers access to the out-of-market broadcast games on Saturday. That is the rule I know for certain is finally changing next year. Andy Dufresne'd those MF's.
June 6, 201312 yr Author BTW I fully agree that the blackout rules are crap. MLB is selling the baseball version of wolf tickets.
June 6, 201312 yr If you subscribe to ****ing cable, you should be able to watch the blackout games on any device. I tried to use MLB.tv to watch games when I was with my mom in the hospital for three weeks and was completely shut out. So stupid. I'm already paying for this game TWICE.
June 6, 201312 yr I live in Cape Girardeau, MO and Kansas City games are blacked out here on MLBTV. I live 6 freaking hours away from Kansas City. So stupid
June 6, 201312 yr QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 12:33 PM) Creating this thread due to the following concerns: I didn't see Mike mention Saturday while posting his concerns so if he is talking about days other than Saturday all games should be available because that's what you're paying for with Extra Innings When the SOx are on WCIU just have to watch the other teams feed of the game . When on WGN either you switch to WGN , channel 307 on direcTV or again get the other teams broadcast of the game.
