June 8, 201312 yr Good! I've turned the corner earlier in the week. I hope we lose every game that Sale doesn't pitch, and we can get a top 5, maybe even top 3 pick next year.
June 8, 201312 yr I don't know how teams like the White Sox make money. You read about how much the franchise is worth, but with attendance likely to be at an all time low the rest of the season, how do they pay those absurd player contracts? We all know the attendance is shot the rest of this season. It just seems like they'd need to have a lot of butts in the seats to make a buck and most people wouldn't go to a game the rest of this season even if offered a free ticket. Sox projected attendance to be better this year than last, teams are becoming less dependent on attendance every year and since people still pay to see games, free is much better. So in other words wrong , wrong, and wrong.
