Tough guys who don't fight are the worst.

Well, Lapierre is a former Canuck.

Quite the collapse in Columbus

Really could use one here.

Nice power play, no power play.

Total fail there. Needed to get one.

Given what happened twice in St. Louis, not feeling very confident yet. Can't waste opportunities like that.

They are going to regret those goose eggs on the PP.

It still amazes me that a PP unit with Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa, & Keith can be so inefficient.

Packing in the D. Not working.

I hope Morin plays at some point.

Boom.

Lapierre picks on Saad. What a p****.

Yay!

Way to play Corey, he stepped up huge. Need #10 & #81 to get on the board though. I'll be at the UC Wednesday night, should be fun.

Finally they close one out.

People are shocked how big Columbus is when you look at it.

I'm moving there in August. I was shocked to find out that it wasn't basically the same thing as Champaign IL. It's a legitimate metro area with all the trimmings (but also some of the perks of the mid-size college town)

Nice win for Hawks.

Crawford stole a game (and Miller lost it on a super softy). Hawks got outplayed, which is very concerning. Better effort needed Wed or it's going to be 3-1.

And for the love of God, a PP goal would be nice. Or, even just a decent PP chance or two.

Poor Columbus.

And that Granlund goal, wowzers.

Nice to see the refs steal a goal and possibly the game away from Tampa Bay tonight with a bogus goalie interference call.

So you aren't going to like this, but it was 100% the right call.

However, it's a rule that clearly needs to be fixed.

I have a problem that the "interference" came a good time before the goal was scored. So this hometown ref appears to have made up his mind during the action that if anything happened that he was going to wave the goal off.

Fraser thinks Killorn was at total fault for crashing into Price in the first place. I dont know about that, Desharnais did give a push to help Killorn into the net.

Former NHL ref Bruce Hood said that part of a ref's responsibility is to know how the game is being played and by who. He said Price is known for trying to draw goalie interference calls by going into skaters so a ref should take that into account.

Besides the power play issues, the Hawks stars really need to get on the score sheet.

Hossa - 0 points

Sharp - 0 points

Kane - 1 point

The deserving team may be 0-3 in this series. But that's playoff hockey.

Hawks don't deserve a 3-0 series lead, that's for sure. Could they be up 3-0? Sure. But they haven't outplayed the Blues in 3 games to deserve anything. I'm not looking at this series going man, we're just unlucky, we should be up 3-0.

At least Hossa and Sharp are getting shots on goal.

Versteeg and Shaw had a combined 1 shot on goal yesterday. Versteeg shouldn't even be playing, he is awful.
