Votes are cast before the postseason, which makes the world series irrelevant in the race for MVP, but it does make it that much important for Magglio to go on a tear in September. What that guy brings to a team is just unbelievable. He gets managers to think about facing him two, three innings before he even comes up. What he did right after he came back from visiting his dad left no doubt in my mind, two game winning homers in three games. He is the true definition of an MVP. I think he still has a shot if the Sox miss the playoffs but if we make the playoffs hes a shoe in. NL MVP- If the Cards win, Pujols, if they dont Sheffield. Sheffield plays on a sure playoff team and he only has two less RBIs and one less bomb. But if the Cards go to the playoffs, its definitely Pujols. NL CY- Jason Schmidt.
