Francisco Peguero signs with Orioles

Featured Replies

Not really big news or anything, but its slow.....

BA had him as San Fran's 8th best prospect going into last season and he's put had a fairly impressive minor league career. Still 25 and supposedly has some serious tools. Could be an interesting guy to bring for a look

Can't imagine him being any better than what we've already got...Pass.

Francisco Peguero sounds Spanish for Jordan Danks.

Another guy who just came available from Rockies is ouitfielder Tim Wheeler. Former First Rounder, he had a big year in AA in 2011, then injuries hit him and he was just outrighted to AAA. He had/had some pop and can play CF. Don't know his health status, but he was a solid prospect just 2 years ago.

I like this idea. He's only 25 and healthy now. Just seems to need more AB's after that broken bone in his hand at the start of the 2012 season. Takes time to find your swing after something like that. The Denver post had a short blurb on him recently...

Worth a possible rule 5 pick. Good call oldsox.
