Huh?

I don't understand what's so hard to grasp. Greatest x of all time has always had more than straigh up numbers, timing intangibles and influence in the sport are all very much involved. Federer brought tennis back for a lot of people after the snooze fest of late 90s power tennis. He also had maintained his dominance despite the mysterious slowing of ball speeds that works against his game.

Fine, look at women's game, Serena probably won't come close to total titles of Steffi Graf but will probably go down as greatest ever if she gets to 22. Likewise with Navritalova total doubles and singles career. But no ones ever seen anything like Serena's power and competitiveness in women's game.

Happy for Wawrinka to win, he works his ass off but has always been in Federer's shadow. At his press conference he said "I'm most likely gonna get drunk tonight", ha.

Agreed, I like Stan. He looks like any dude ever, super humble and his backhand is pretty fun to watch.

Has anyone been to sw open in cincy and how expensive were tix?

Also Federe is still better than Nadal for sheer creativity and beauty that is unmatched.

I went last year, Monday-Wednesday. Amazing experience with terrific access to players (you get to see just about everybody up close), can't recommend it more highly.. Each session was between $35-60 for those days, I think. On sale to general public March 3rd.

Awesome, and I'm guessing hotels weren't too bad in Cincinnati either.

From your experience would I need to be ready to jump on tickets on March 3rd or will there be time to put this together?

If you're planning on going later in the week then you should probably buy earlier (spring), but if you're going earlier in the week you can probably wait until the summer. Hotels aren't bad; one thing to keep in mind is that it's actually held in the town of Mason to the northeast, about 30,000 people. I stayed at a Best Western for about $70 a night.

I do highly recommend going earlier in the week, by the way. If you're a tennis diehard Monday is awesome, but Tuesday and Wednesday are great too because that's when the top guys all start playing. On Monday you'll still be able to see those guys practicing, which is the closest you'll get to the top players unless you pay a fortune for courtside center court. Earlier in the week is better because there's tennis going on on 9-10 courts and you can get ridiculously close even to some top players. Your ticket will get you general admission to every court except Center, which you'll have an assigned seat for.

Muguruza's prob gonna be a top 10 player within the next 12 months.

I'd prob put my money on a claycourt specialist like Halep if I had to, but the Women's draw is such a crapshoot at best.....

With Serena out, my money is on Sharapova

I'm rooting for Radwanska to put it all together but unlikely. Women's will be fun.

Men's side, even with Nadal's poor play this year, I have a hard time believing Nova will take him out.

Awesome story, 18 year old Taylor Townsend from Englewood is on a wild card bid. She won her first match and is playing her second. She won her 1st set.

Upset city at Wimbeldon

Nadal lost yesterday, Murray just lost today

The last 4 women left are ranked 3, 6, 13, 23

And how about that Serena breakdown yesterday? That was just weird

Damn, surprised Murray lost.

Things are opening up for Roger's last stand :)

Krygios reminds me so much of a young Goran Ivanisevic.

Decent chance he'll be top 20 by this point next year though, just needs to keep improving his fitness, because he already has the power game on the serve and groundstrokes by this point.

Apparently Murray told his box to F*** Off during the Dimitrov loss, so something is definitely going on there.

Whoever wins b/w Bouchard and Halep will win the Womens.

I am betting on Halep to take down this Wimbledon.
