April 11, 201411 yr Rondon was just 16 when BoSox signed him. No wonder his BA was a bit low in early years. This kid is a legitimate prospect. Boston might have figured he would get stuck behind Pedroia and Boegarts, so they let him go in the Peavy trade??? Wonder if Hahn held out for him or just got lucky. Either way, it makes the Peavy trade look better and better.

I have high hopes for Barnum, so hopefully he can get back on track.
