December 16, 200223 yr Nothing really new. He said that a wild card team has come into the picture. Said he will give every team a shot. Meaning something like this: He has a deal on the table with the White Sox that he is ready to accept, he'll call the other teams he thinks can beat the deal, and he'll give them a chance to do so.
December 16, 200223 yr Cool, from what I hear he's going to announce whatever deal he makes on Monday and isn't going to pull anything before hand. I'm thinking he has quite a few deals out their and that Vidro, Tatis, Vazquez, and Colon are all dumped.

What Jason meant by the "negotiating tactics" line is, by Minaya saying he is closer to a trade, or by him saying he may not make a trade this weekend, other teams will up the ante.
