Hitting .365/.400/.538 since June 4th

Time for him to go before we get April thru June 4th numbers again.

Doubt he has another run of 2 straight months with a BABIP well over 100 points below his career average to be fair

The real De Aza is closer to .200 than .365

Doubt he hits .365 either.

Slightly. Career .269 hitter.

Technically true, but silly....But even with his dreadful 2 months or whatever he's still hitting .271 as a memeber of the Sox

Don't really get that move at all...and I'm usually the one defending RV....Hope it works out.

Walk them loaded for Springer that takes balls.

Ventura is a genius.

It worked

Nice job belly flop

In other words, no matter how well De Aza plays now, its better to get rid of him so he will help another team and the Sox duffer without his talents?

It works out...Very nice. Keep Bella out of the closer role and he'll be fine.

Belisario's ERA down to 4.94. Should really start to plummet now given how well he's pitched overall.

The typo makes it work well.

He's either been really good, or really bad. There has been zero middle ground.

If I recall correctly, he gave up 5 earned runs in 0.1 IP in Colorado near the start of the year when pitching hurt.

His SIERA on the year is 2.91.

No Sox player needs a change of scenery more than GB.

would love to see any one of the sox four promising young MI prospects instead of beckham.

With a more flexible bench, we have two players (Gillaspie and De Aza) that if we keep both, could put up some pretty good lines if platooned. Gillaspie hitting .360 against righties and .197 against lefties, De Aza .278 against righties and .078 against lefties. All their power coming against righties too.

He was also just horrible during his time as closer too.

Those two are 3-7 including a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored.
