They could be passed up. The White Sox are the most improved team in baseball. The Indians aren't going anywhere. The Royals went to the World Series last year.

I will happily take this but at this point I'd have to say the Pads take the cake. Too bad they play in a stadium that makes baseball as interesting as cricket.

I honestly think it's the Padres, but I'll take the love.

Pretty solid synopsis of the Tigers chances, I'd say.

 

I think the Padres acquired the most talent, but it may take them 1/2 a season or more to sort it out...they need to make more moves to move excess and shore up weaknesses.

Sox need more moves too, but they have no excess on the 25 roster. It will come from the minors (either using them or trading them) or FA signing next year.

The Pads, to me, equal the Marlins or Blue Jays of the last few years. Buy everyone on the market, trade for all the over-the-hill big names, and watch em blow up.
