March 10, 201511 yr Poor guy. I really feel bad for him. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/03/gavi...s-fracture.html Gavin Floyd Out Indefinitely With Stress Fracture By Jeff Todd [March 10, 2015 at 12:16pm CDT] Indians righty Gavin Floyd again has a stress fracture in his right elbow and will be out indefinitely, the club announced (Twitter links). Treatment options are still being assessed, but surgery is a possibility.
March 10, 201511 yr QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 10, 2015 -> 12:36 PM) After his TJ he now has had 2 elbow fractures. Makes you wonder if he is done. Makes sense. The ligament is now stronger than the bone. When he puts the stress on the elbow the bone gives instead of the ligament. That is a very good replacement.
March 10, 201511 yr Never understood Cleveland giving him 4 mil with his injury history. Edited March 10, 201511 yr by Soxfest

That is a very good replacement. I actually read that as a probable cause when he fractured it last year.
March 16, 201511 yr When this season is over, Gavin will have been paid $1,250,000 per start the last 3 years. I wonder if he tries again. I can't imagine a team giving him anywhere near $4 million to try.

March 17, 201511 yr I loved me some Gavin, and a healthy Gavin with Cleveland's rotation this year scared me. Don't wanna wish injury upon anyone, especially an athlete I like, but I am OK with this.
