August 15, 201510 yr QUOTE (LDF @ Aug 14, 2015 -> 07:23 PM) in spite of the score, today's attendance 36,000 + that is great ..... Actually, not selling out a late Friday afternoon against a Cubs playoff team isn't that great.
August 15, 201510 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 15, 2015 -> 03:13 AM) Actually, not selling out a late Friday afternoon against a Cubs playoff team isn't that great. while that may be true, but wasn't some of the tickets at $$ 2.... i may be wrong here and am imagining it.
August 15, 201510 yr Meeting up with some family at the game today. I am planning on arriving early to park, but the directions are unclear on whether the lettered lots will be accepting cash. Does anyone have advice as to whether or not I should even bother trying to park in a lettered lot?
August 16, 201510 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 14, 2015 -> 09:13 PM) Actually, not selling out a late Friday afternoon against a Cubs playoff team isn't that great. and it was $40 to walk in the door.
August 16, 201510 yr QUOTE (ewokpelts @ Aug 16, 2015 -> 04:51 AM) and it was $40 to walk in the door. Big city prices in small town America. Oh, wait.
August 16, 201510 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 16, 2015 -> 09:06 AM) Big city prices in small town America. Oh, wait. The sox have a history of overpricing these games. And dynamic pricing made it higher. That said, 3k under an official sellout is good. Not to mention the comp tix that always keep numbers below 40k. Even Saturday's game that had SRO tix at $75 drew under 40k
August 17, 201510 yr Trying to find cash parking was a nightmare yesterday. Got there an hour early, got routed all over the place for an hour and eventually to the remote lot where there was a huge line for the buses (how long have they had remote parking over there?), ultimately ended up just finding a street spot past IIT on 35th. Missed the whole first inning. Now I know why I usually take the red line. It was probably my fault, but I was so ticked. Edited August 17, 201510 yr by bighurt574
