Mets led the NL in runs scored after the ASB, and I think DeGrom/Thor/Harvey/Matz is better than Arrieta/Lester/Hendricks/Hammel. I know the regular season head-to-head record, but both the Mets and Cubs are completely different teams since then, so it's pretty meaningless. Hell, the White Sox won the season series against the Jays, but we never played them post-Price/Tulo acquisitions when they were the best team in baseball.

I guess I should stick with that. The Blue Jays just have so many players I think are jerks, I find myself rooting for the Royals now. I'd also like to see the Royals win Game 7 at home since the Blue Jays didn't play like they cared about home field advantage the final week of the season.

October 24, 201510 yr My predictions went to hell rather quickly. Both the Royals and Mets have some hot hitting so in the end I think it comes down to pitching and I believe the Mets to have the advantage. I'll say Mets in 6 and hope that's not a curse.
