May 24, 20169 yr Anderson 1 for 1, now at .309. 6th double. Much more respectable 737 OPS, but still not MUCH power and we know about the walks. That said, we knew he would be more of a line drive-hitting doubles/triples guy with hopefully Ray Durham-esque 12-15 homer numbers at the next level. Carlos Sanchez back in the CHA line-up, hitting 2nd. Kevan Smith at .345. Not sure if it's producing any footsteps for Avila. Probably not. Hayes and Coats with almost the same OPS numbers, 888 vs. 894. Edited May 24, 20169 yr by caulfield12
May 25, 20169 yr This offense needs to be woken up, I am almost ready for Anderson to come up at this point. Hit him 9th and let him earn his stripes
May 25, 20169 yr Saladino deserves at least a month of playing time to prove himself at SS...unless the organization and especially the coaches in Charlotte feel he's 100% ready. Doubt that's the case. The last thing we need to do is screw up Anderson's career.
May 25, 20169 yr QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ May 25, 2016 -> 02:49 AM) Zangari 0 for 4 with 3 K. I'm sure he will get the proper teaching and development in our system
May 25, 20169 yr QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2016 -> 09:56 PM) I'm sure he will get the proper teaching and development in our system Funny thing, last year in AZL he started like this too. Then improved quite a bit. You know who they had him working with? Jim Thome. Maybe Jim needs to spend a week in Kannapolis.
