Same things were said about Wacha and Nola...maybe not 5th starter, but 3/4ish.

I don't think Hudson is a #5 but there are 10 players in the draft better than him and the White Sox pick 10th.

Interesting article. I'm wondering if he would be MLB ready if he didn't go to college.

He's been on a streak, he was pretty good his last start. I'd think he'd be an under slot guy.

Nobody said that about Nola.

 

 

I thought the consensus was that he was going to be the fastest mover and was the most refined pitcher available, but wasn't projected to be the ace of a rotation...?

 

I guess your argument is that he's (and the projections/scouts had him as) more like a 2 vs. a 3?
