Hahn supports Ventura's in-game decisions

Featured Replies

That was more like.

"Look I'm just the general manager...I wont criticize what he's doing". Basically distancing himself.

I mean if this doesnt go well he's going down with the ship to. Firing Robin would put more eyes on his actions.

Exactly. Hahn says he's happy from an 'information and process standpoint.' He most definitely did not say he agreed (or disagreed, for that matter) with the decision itself. Big difference.

I predict he's fired on Monday if they only win 1 game or less on this trip.

I would be overjoyed but it ain't happening.

The ONE thing that can undo Ventura is even sloppier play and the losing streak continuing...

If they actually win a game, the pressure's off for a moment. But the media's going to focus more and more on the story as the streak continues, particularly in relation to where they were 3 weeks ago. Blowing the 7-1 lead is an aspect to this that's irresistible and those three consecutive games against KC is hard to ignore.

It would be unrealistic to expect the GM to openly rip the guy he personally extended a contract to.
