  1. I don't agree. Yes, I am very happy when my teams win, but life doesn't change all that much if the Sox win the WS or are competing for the worst record in baseball. Don't get me wrong, I still care about the results. I still go to more games than most people, but it's not as big of a deal as it once was. The guy I had season tickets with had an accident, hit his head and died. The company I worked for went bankrupt. I was lucky and got a job without missing a paycheck. I know others that almost 7 years later make a fraction of what they made and are really struggling. Those things are far worse than White Sox or Bulls or Bears or Hawkeyes losses. I'd like to think I have gained some perspective. Not a lot in reality, but some.
  2. That same extremely conservative medical staff rushed an injured Rodgers back out onto the field last year to try to salvage their playoff hopes didn't they?
  3. Or maybe, just maybe, a more equitable economic distribution does not stop a police officer from breaking into your apartment and shooting you on site and then the police declaring you a criminal for it.
  4. He along with a number of other guys on the 40 man roster need to be sent as far away from the organization as possible.
  5. The White Sox hit 30 games below .500 on July 8th with a mark of 30-60. Since then they are actually 27-29 over what is just a touch more than 1/3 of a season, that even includes the just finished 7 game losing streak. This team has improved a lot over the course of the season, and now that we have some talent in the pen again, I would expect to see that growth continue into next year.
