6/7 White Sox @ Royals (7:15 PM)
Has McCann not been one of their best 4 hitters?

Is Ricky Renteria once again simply a placeholder manager?
I have a weird view of Ricky. On the one hand, his tactics, for the most part, capital S Suck. On the other, his players seem to like him and he seems to run a pretty tight ship.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
Luis Robert has got to make Byron Buxton look like, well, Eloy if you're going to bookend him with those two guys, woof.

I like the prospect of it just to go full on Heel Sox

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
Aaron rowand was really damn good in 04, 05 and 07. A lot like Eaton though, they moved on at the right time.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
I know they're not. But I think you can get by with one obvious hole for a year or until the deadline. The first order of business is pitching. Then fill one of those holes, if you can fill both, great.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
I like this move a lot. I think you can go into 2020 with Yolmer or Tilson/Cordell in the lineup, and expect to be pretty competitive. I think you fill one of those holes, then go add pitching and we're in pretty good shape.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Abreu , Maybe. But CJ Cron has been a hell of lot better than Abreu so I definitely don't see what you see there. But I am absolutely not giving them a guy that can help them in 2020 in Colome.

When will Luis Robert be promoted again?
Yup. Service time be damned, it's more important they all be good at the same time. You got your savings on Eloy, you're getting them on Cease, Giolito, Moncada. It's time to stop worrying about 2027 and start worrying about 2020. If you're going to punt 2020, whatever then, wait until April, but punting would be a bad decision. It's not because I want to be entertained in 2019, it's because I want the best possible version of Luis Robert in 2020

Where is Nick Madrigal at in his development?
I don't think Madrigal is a guy that goes deep into counts, he's too good at putting the ball in play.

6/6 Games
With a back injury I’d imaging we’d be getting some ‘scary scene’ type stuff if it was anything serious

***Day 3 MLB Draft Thread Rounds 11-40***
The scholarship thing is news to me, so I take that back

***Day 3 MLB Draft Thread Rounds 11-40***
Maybe this is just me, but going to the minors on 22nd round money seems really irresponsible.

Best Organizational Young Talent Since???
They had a core that was ready to compete and those guys weren’t ready to contribute. They’re going to need to do the same thing again. The Tatis one is the only one you can’t defend. If samardzija was the guy you thought you were getting no one would care that Marcus semien figured it out four years later. I’m also not sure why you’re sweating Frankie Montana who is on his third team before he figured it out. They need to be better at pro scouting, not scared to move mid tier prospects.

OUTFIELD A MAJOR ISSUE.
Is this a sincere take? Because it’s a doozy.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Agreed. And it’s gotta be a guy in at least AA

Kimbrel to Cubs
Pretty close to twenty when you consider it’s only 2.5 years

Breaking up a No No with a Bunt? No No
Disagree. I'm trying to win the game, I don't care one bit about your no hitter.
