Indiana with a lopsided win over Longwood 100-49. Gordon pours in 21 points and Crawford puts up 16. -

QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 8, 2007 -> 03:12 PM) My bet is White doesn't get drafted at all in day one. He's not that good. People are trying to jump on this Indiana bandwagon because of Gordon and a new coach. I just don't see it. As was stated earlier, they are a small team and are going to get beat up when they play the big boys. I don't think they'll be a bd team, far from it. But I'll consider them (sorry for this soxbadger) the Wisconsin of this years football season - totally overhyped because of what they have on paper. As for Wisky - who is going to score points? I'm confident that Ryan is going to have another solid team - that's all he does is win - but I don't see where their points are going to come from. As for Illinois - my thinking is that even with all of the crap that happened last year (just about everyone hurt, the dui's, etc) they still managed 23 wins, a close 4th place (should have been 3rd) finish in the big ten and an NCAA tourney bid (which they should have beaten v-tech but choked). This year they field an incredibly deep frontcourt with at least 4-5 guys, two guards that can actually penetrate and dish, and the team itself is healthy. So based on the fact that I assume they'll be better than last year, I'm looking at 4th place in the big ten as the worst case scenario, but a big win or two on the road and I think they have a shot at the conference title. I guess I still do not understand how we are going to get "beat up" by the big boys when we return a far superior team to last years squad and last year we MORE than held our own. Maybe I'm just retarded though and can't see through my goggles. -

QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 8, 2007 -> 02:47 PM) DJ White is the most overrated player in the Big Ten. I think Indiana will be good, only because they have an unstoppable traitor in Gordon. The team is good enough to keep them in games, but Gordon will ultimately win it for them. My prediction: MSU ILL IND WISC PUR crap crap crap crap crap crap (and yes, this is based mostly on my own Illinois bias, though I do think, based on what I've seen thus far, they are going to be better than most predict) Is this traitor s*** going to start again. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Nov 8, 2007 -> 02:26 PM) The same white who averaged 14 pts and 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. Is so much better than butch who averaged 9pts and 6 rebounds in 21 minutes. And so much better than Sutton who averaged 9 pts and 7 rebounds in 27 minutes. And even better than Morgan who has a frosh averaged 12 pts and 5 rebounds in 28 minutes. Maybe DJ White will win the Big 10 Player of the Year (my guess is he wont), but even if we pencil him in as the best PF/C in the Big 10, the problem still is who plays the other big man position. Hence why I listed that Indiana only has 2 big men. Teams like Wisconsin, MSU, will attack the inside with their height and strength advantage. Sure DJ is quick, but MSU has Morgan, and Wisconsin now has Leur. Both have size and the ability to step outside. Last, winning the Big 10 this year may have nothing to do with the best team. Indiana has to play at Wisconsin, at MSU, at Illinois, at OSU MSU has to play at Indiana, at Wisconsin, at Illinois, at OSU Wisconsin only plays at Indiana, at OSU, at Illinois Hence if all 3 keep home court, Wisconsin has a half game advantage. My feelings really are that Indiana will more likely be 3rd than 1st, but most likely finish second. Also the same White that was the LONE bright spot on the Pan Am team this summer. He will be a totally different player this year and play much like he did at the end of last season. And I think your really sleeping on Holmans ability to shut down the blocks. -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 8, 2007 -> 01:35 PM) All that means absolutely nothing to me. I really couldn't care less that Suton or Butch are an inch or two taller than DJ White, doesn't mean anything to me. Indiana is the best team in the big 10 and one of the better teams in the country, they aren't finishing 3rd in the big 10. Exactly, Suton and Butch could not hold a candle to White. I don't know what the big deal is, we had NO trouble defending last year with even less depth down low as we were one of the better defensive teams in the country. Add Holman, Thomas, and McGee we are going to be set, especially since Holman was rated the best defensive big man to come out of the West. We have to be the most athletic team in the Big Ten and I can't wait to see the first official game on Monday! -

Jordan Crawford finishes with 30 points. Will Gordon have some competition for Freshman of the year in the Big Ten? Probably not, but Crawford is going to be a force this year! -

Notre Dame picks up 5 star WR Michael Floyd this weekend after his official to the ND/USC game. Thats 20 recruits now for the greatest ND recruiting class ever assembled. Jonas Gray and Trevor Robinson are also very highly interested now. Talent level should be very good next season. -

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 13, 2007 -> 01:50 PM) By the way...I just want to say...Mendenhall best RB in the Big Ten, BAHAHAAA. I'm not slamming him, but he ain't the best. I rarely saw an "impressive" run out of him today. Albert Young was better today, than again Young is finally getting healthy again and when healthy he has led the big ten in rushing before. beat me to it... mendenhall>>>>>>>>hart -

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 12:29 PM) Current 2008 commits Devin Ebanks, Derek Elston and Matt Roth, and potential recruits Dexter Strickland, Jacob Jenkins, Jordan Prosser, Kevin Jones, Lance Stephenson, Nolan Dennis, Ray McCallum Jr, and Stephan Van Treese are all expected to be in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria tonight. I saw Ebanks when I was leaving Assembly Hall a little bit earlier today. Thats a TON of talent. I was going to attend but I decided to come home this weekend instead of heading over to Bloomington. Let me know how it goes! -

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 12:04 PM) I have a feeling you just opened up a can of worms in this thread. He may have, but I agree wholeheartedly. Mendenhall is a good back, but Hart has carried the Michigan offense all year. The guy backs down to no one. I'd be willing to bet Rashard does not even get 100 yards vs Michigan or Ohio State. Hell, I'd even go as far as I bet Iowa holds him under 100. -

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Sep 18, 2007 -> 01:45 PM) Indiana has supposedly taken the lead for Zeller, after a hard recruiting push from Sampson. I don't expect to pluck him away from his home state even though he had a great visit. Shumpert is very intelligent about the recruiting game and plays everything close to his vest, so to speak, so it's really hard to get a feel about him. One day I think UNC looks good, then the next he's talking up Hewitt's use of big guards, then the next he's praising Dwyane Wade's progression from Tom Crean. Who knows. I sure hope your right about Zeller. Sampson picked up a 3 star big man out of Ohio yesterday in Tom Pritchard. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Sep 16, 2007 -> 12:57 AM) I didn't hear you b****ing about Willingham's classes when Weis rode them to BCS Bowls the last couple of years. Face it, ND sucks and until they find a QB and some offensive linemen, combined with the fact it will take them awhile to transfer to the 3-4 defense and that schedule, ND is in line to be bad for a few years now. If Weis didn't have the NFL pedigree or white skin, he'd be suffering the same fate as Willingham unfairly did. Oh, and yes Pat Fitzgerald is an awful, awful coach. Worst in game coach I have ever seen in college football. Well this class was Willinghams last and don't you think recruits would of tried to stay away after he got fired? This class was one of the worst ND has ever had. Things will get sorted out by the end of this year or next, just wait. -

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 07:43 PM) Why isnt Weis going to be fired? This is his 3rd year. The same amount of years Willingham was given. Weis has shown that he has actually made this team worse. Plenty of teams lose their starting QB's. OSU lost 8 first team big ten players and is still good. Its time for the fire Weis talk to start IMO. Because this was somewhat expected. This senior class is a Willingham recruiting class and unfortunately for Notre Dame, it was an awful class. Weis has come in right away and he is bringing in top 10 recruiting classes. While no one could of predicted the struggles ND has had thus far, help is certainly on the way with these past 2 classes and the one coming in next year is looking stupendous. Something really needs to be done with the line though, it is pathetic. -
I just realized mixing college classes and being a college athelete is going to take some serious time management skills.

If I'm not mistaken I think there is a new Blackberry coming out and it has a bunch of new features. www.crackberry.com should have something about it. I have the Pearl and I will now never have anything other than a blackberry cell phone.

That seems to be a great routine. I do a lot of that kind of stuff to keep me flexible and in shape. They are right, you don't want to be too upper body strong as you need to have some big legs and 'butt' or you must make up for it in height. I also try to run at least 2 miles a day so those days when you humidity is at its worst, you can still fight through. Arm bands and Dr. Joeb workouts are essential too. I think SoxFan1 would agree as if i recall correctly I think he is a pitcher in college too.

Yea my friends having a huge party for it. I'll be there but I'm not sure if I'll remember any of it!
