QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 11:29 AM) Gophers got predictably worked last night against Purdue. We hung around for awhile, but our offense was too inconsistent to get anything done. I think we've got a chance against Purdue when we play them in Minneapolis, but we're going to need to shoot a lot better than 31%. I was at the game, it was pretty ugly on both ends from what I saw. JJ is difference for Purdue. Unfortunately for them, they have no depth after him. If he gets in foul trouble, I can't see the guards carrying them past a good, well coached team. I was impressed with Minnesota's Johnson as well. -

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 9, 2009 -> 04:05 PM) I take it a bottle of Jack and a hotel room is out? Oh her father booked them both a separate suite, so that is definitely not out!

I'd give anything for Indiana to knockoff Kentucky and that sleazy Calipari Saturday, but I just don't see it happening. Assembly Hall should be nuts though. -
Hah sorry, I'm 21 and it will be her and her twin sisters 21st birthday. Looking for some good bars and good entertainment. Maybe a nightclub one night, not really my thing, but I'm sure we'll go.
-
I'll be in Vegas for my gf's birthday from December 30th - January 2. We'll be staying at the Trump and I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips and places that I wouldn't want to miss while I'm there. Good bar suggestions would be appreciated.

Saw "The Blindside" last night. Thought it was fantastic. Sandra Bullock was looking better than I have seen her in a while.

That means??? I'm sure he has a sweatshirt from damn near every college team. A lot of teens do. I'm sure today he went to school in a Slippery Rock t-shirt. Punch his ticket there. He is a Tar Heel. -

I go to Purdue and absolutely despise the basketball team. I hope Indiana can surprise a few people this year with the freshman, hopefully Purdue. Looks like they are going to have a pretty good year though. The one player I can't stand in college bball is Chris Kramer, but he's going to be key for their team this year. -
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 29, 2009 -> 01:51 PM) Have fun explaining your costumes 500 different times. Haha I'm having a huge party at my place and we're all college kids so it should not be a problem. Someone will have an idea when shes in a red bathing suit with nine cabbage page kids tied to her haha.

I'm going as Squince Paladores and my girlfriend is going as Wendy Peppercorn, from the Sandlot.
-
21 next friday thank god.
-
Haha, craziest random hook ups would be a good topic.
-
Yea, Purdue has banners and stuff of that sort hanging all over campus. I'm sure Armstrong will be around this year to give some big speech or something. Incredible feat.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jul 8, 2009 -> 12:43 PM) In what world is that logic? You're own little dreamland? - He had sleepovers with many little boys. - Only two claimed he molested them. Conclusion: They must be liars and he must be innocent b/c obviously he would have molested more than just them. Wow, talk about someone having their head up their ass. Just because you say it is logic, doesn't mean it is. And you were trying to compare him to a shoe collector and serial killer. Hey guess what, serial killers/molestors see hundreds of people a day who they don't kill/molest. (Does that mean they really arent b/c they let so many people "go"?) I don't pretend to know how their mind works or functions. But claiming that since he was around X number of little boys and only 2 claimed molestation it must be a lie is asinine. Who knows what people are thinking when they do things they do. But I have a hard time believing a man who often shares beds with little boys and then shells out tens of millions of dollars of hush money if he doesnt have something to hide. The blind defense of this man is disturbing, and it's people like you who make the rest of us laugh. And boom goes the dynamite... Right on man!

Looks like Ciolli signed as his facebook says he's heading to Great Falls in the morning.
-
Mariotti just ripped Ozzie for this on ATH. He stated Ozzie's act of saying this every year is getting "stale". The host asked him if he was going to say that to Ozzie's face and Mariotti said yes, if Ozzie would come pay him a visit. I hope Ozzie does just that.
-
Just a note. Phegley and Ciolli were high school teamates. Kind of cool.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 10, 2009 -> 02:20 PM) Dan Black from purdue http://mlb.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?topic_i...tent_id=4818401 .310 but had a sweet BB rate and his OBP was .518....62 BBs in 174 ABs...15 HR also...won't win any awards for best body..but he's a 1b Haha oh crazy, I played with him too. I could probably set something up with Dan. Actually anyone probably could, one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
-
Well I would for sure help you out in anyway possible, but those guys do not think so fond of me after I decided to quit, so an interview would probably be out of the question. I'll be able to put together a little scouting report after I get off work, but he's the definition of a baseball grinder.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 10, 2009 -> 01:38 PM) Another article on Pioli, who was the 2008 Alaskan Summer League player of the year. Sounds like we got ourselves a good baseball player here. Who knows if he makes it or not, but he should be able to rake short season ball. http://www.tribstar.com/ISU/local_story_214232837.html Its Nick Cioli. I played with him at ISU before I decided I wanted to drink my scholarship away haha.

f*** you Kentucky. Serves their hillbilly fans right. -
Arnett was actually a walk on on the basketball team this year and credits Tom Crean for a lot of the stamina and velocity he has gained this season. Crean actually has twittered about him a few times.
