  1. Not a fan of Illinois in the least, but if McCamey come to play in the tournament, they can make a nice run. Should have won that game last night. They were in complete control before McCamey went out in the first half with two fouls. Purdue will always be tough at home because the refs let them rape the opposing team on defense. Which is pretty much the reason they can never make a deep run in March, because that s*** doesn't fly. I will be one happy camper when Moore and Johnson have played their last game and I hope to god that its not in the final four.
  2. Exactly what I was thinking fathom. He is the reason OSU is down right now.
  3. Best coach in the country is at Indiana University.
  4. I honestly hope OSU beats them by 50 Saturday and Sullinger takes a dump at halfcourt right before the final buzzer sounds.
  5. Their whole defensive strategy is fouling. Thats why they never do anything on a neutral floor, road floor, or in the NCAA tournament.
  6. Weren't some fans thinking Meyers could be a one and done? The dude is so bad everytime I see him. Seems like he has a ton of potential, he just plays dumb and does more whining with Richmond than anything else.
  7. Illinois has so much talent, how the hell are they this bad. It seems they are all mental midgets.
  8. This is just hilarious. http://www.nationalsenquirer.com/2011/02/elijah-dukes-embarks-on-a-new-career-as-a-rapper-meet-fly-eli.html http://twitpic.com/3yqzrd
  9. He is dirtier than hell. Pretty sure that whole staff just got fired, or is in the process. They are ban from nearly every postseason and are losing scholarships.
  10. Dudes who stare at themselves in the mirror when lifting at every station, then proceed to get pissed if you walk in front of them and block their view of themselves.
  11. IU blows it against Iowa. They have our number right now. Shoulda won that game for sure.
  12. If you hire Scott Drew, you might as well just have hired Bruce Pearl.
  13. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Feb 4, 2011 -> 09:15 AM) Korie Lucious is officially visiting Iowa State this weekend. WTF? Does your coach have a special education background that he's looking to combine with coaching?
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 12:18 PM) That would be awesome for Iowa. I saw IU pulled in a great QB in Shane Wynn. Overall not a great day for the Big Ten though. As conference rankings go, the ones outside the SEC get pretty much the same number of top 100 guys, I just think the conference pulled in alot of guys below that. I thought Wynn was a speedy slot receiver? Said he was the most explosive player in Ohio and OSU showed major interest, but got their man elsewhere. I have a feeling Wilson is going to get IU football on the map. IU is shelling out more cash than just about every team in the country on their athletics, its quite incredible. Saw we now have the largest weight room in the country. It'll be nice to actually look forward to football season. Purdue is quickly turning into the doormat program. I can't find one person that likes Danny Hope.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 09:54 AM) They didn't rush the court again did they? The storm is still no excuse for Michigan State to get routed vs. Iowa. Losing a close game is one thing, but that was an ass kicking. They appear to be in straight free fall mode. Nope, just dominated a good MN team without our 2 prized players. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 11:09 AM) Just curious, as I don't know a lot on this... who has actually come to the team that falls into that category? Royce White- Beat s*** out of mall cop and robbery I believe Chris Allen- Banged all of his teammates gf's, drinking, and talking back I believe
  16. Law's a joke. He scoffed at us for taking Sale and said it was the worst early pick in the draft. Thought I read where he was laughing at us for taking a guy who could only get it to 93-94 on a good day. Then Sale delivered it at nearly 100mph every pitch. Suck a shlong Keith Law.
  17. Yea I hear you about Creek, but Jones was starting to really play pretty well. We went into the year with a starting lineup of Hulls, Creek, Jones, Watford, and GMM. We have one player left standing in Hulls. Things happen though I suppose and assuming everybody gets healthy, we should be a pretty damn good team next year losing only Rivers and adding Zeller, Etherington, and probably another player.
  18. Watford probably done for the year with a broken hand. IU now has 3 starters out. Can't wait to see more walkons.....
  19. Been sick for the past 3 days. I sharted on my way to class today. Sucked.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 31, 2011 -> 09:46 AM) Spartand needed OT to get past Indiana by one point in East Lansing. Has Crean figured something out or are the Illini & Spartans just that bad right now? It's more so the fact that Jordan Hulls has taken over as leader of Indiana. Kid is starting to remind most of the state of Steve Alford. Going to be an all big ten player by his senior year. We're playing so well without two of our best players. The rest of this year should be fun. I'm extremely excited about next year and the upcoming future of Indiana basketball. It seems we're starting to come out of the shadows.
  21. Thats what I was saying, IU isn't elite anymore, but you can't deny their history. I'm like you on Crean, I'm still not sure. I want the guy to succeed, and he's definitely going to have the talent to do so in the next few years. If the boosters are not happen by 2013, then you'll see IU give Brad Stevens an NBA contract.
  22. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 28, 2011 -> 06:25 PM) I used to follow recruiting heavily, but I stopped once I realized that I dont care about fancy stars and Id rather judge the players myself. So im not sure what Indiana's future recruiting classes look like, all I can tell you is what Indiana's present team looks like. And presently they dont have any dynamite freshman that Id say are 5 star elite recruits. I guess I dont care about sell outs and atmosphere, that doesnt win games, the players on the court do. And until the sell outs and atmosphere start equaling points and wins, Ill just say that you can have the best environment in the world and it wont get you anywhere if the kids cant play. I actually dont care about the Marquette Wisconsin rivalry, I didnt even know it was a rivalry until I left school. As I was not from Wisconsin, I only considered Big 10 schools to be rivals (where my friends went). It wasnt unitl I started reading Rivals/Scout that I found out there was a rivalry between Marquette and Wisconsin. I try not to let my fandom interfere with my judgments of teams or programs. I wouldnt say I hate Crean, I dont even dislike him, I just think hes an average coach/recruiter. It really doesnt matter to me, Wisconsin is the team I care about and people are never going to respect them anyways. Just in my personal opinion Indiana is not a significantly better job than most in the Big 10. Fair enough, but when you start with 2 walk ons to work with when you arrive, along with probation, you have to start someone.
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 28, 2011 -> 06:24 PM) Unheard of huh? Check out the recruiting rankings of the top team in the Big Ten to see where the bar currently sits. And do you really think IU has elite history? They haven't won a title since 1987, way before recruits were born and have only had one good team since the mid 90's. The entire claim to fame is the 5 titles they won many years ago. History is good and all, but i don't think it means much to recruits who don't have parents from Indiana that remember the old glory days. Yes, I do believe IU used to be elite. 5 titles speak for itself. Hell, the bigten as a conference has 10 total! We are no longer elite, but we definitely have great tradition. You should probably go mention that to all these guys we have coming in, because the first thing out of their mouth when they mention they want to come to IU, is they want to bring back IU basketball.
  24. Also, Indiana has never recruited well in Illinois, even when Knight was there. We pulled the occasional guy (Thomas and Buckner). All you have to do as the coach of Indiana is shut down the border, and thats what Crean has started to do. Its the most talent rich state in terms of people per capita. I know you hate everything Crean because you're a Wisconsin fan, but good things are starting to brew down in Bloomington. We weren't going to be a bottom feeder forever. Basketball is everything in this state.
