  1. Now that I've read what went on, and normally I'm optimistic out of my ass, but blow this f***in' organization up. Fire Ozzie now, I'm done with this trailor trash bulls***. None of this crap is even needed. Let the Cubs have Ozzie, hire Sandburg, and make the whole town a Sox town with no f***in' drama. No more of this p****s*** from Oney. Oney and Ozzie can spend the rest of their lives baking c*ntcakes together for all I care. Get some professionalism in this front office.
  2. What did Oney reply back to Mark? Don't really feel like going through 22 pages of bickering.

    2011 Films Thread

"Brooklyn Decker isn't that hot" Hell, you should have just started a new thread and came out of the closet.
  4. Agreed, the Indiana AD is a big football guy oddly. Put millions into the stadium and it's facilties and is seemingly in the top tier in the bigten in that area now. Probably behind OSU and few others.... With IN HS football on the rise mostly because of the Colts, coupled with Purdue being a joke of a program and having Danny Hope (and ND recruiting nationally), the states top players are heading to Bloomington.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 06:08 PM) He will probably still go to Indiana, but come on, it's college football. Until they sign that dotted line, never say never. It's a dirty world out there. Either way, that's a great get for IU, just to create some buzz for the football program. He's enrolling in December, he isn't going anywhere. And according to the Rivals and Scout national guys, top out of state skill position players are taking notice... Crazy thing is, IU will likely pull in multiple 4 star type of talents in 2012 and 2013... Hell, we could barely get 3 stars before.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 02:39 PM) WTF, really? I'm not about to say were going to become a powerhouse.... but I definitely see us becoming an Iowa or Mizzou.
  7. If he commits anywhere, he won't switch. He has an offer from every school in the country right now so nothing will change. He's stated numerous times he will only go to a school that will sign one qb only. He stated last week he was done taking visits, so I'm betting it's IU. I would agree with you that top players don't go to IU, but I guarantee this has a domino effect ala Cody Zeller. Kevin Wilson is building something. Gunner has handled this so well
  8. So in other news besides the trade today, the #1 5star QB for 2012 Gunner Kiel is at IU this afternoon. Down to IU and Bama, many rumors of commitment this afternoon. In other words, you can bank on the world ending if INDIANA picks up the #1 QB in the country.
  9. According to baseball-reference, opponents entering tonight were batting 24-for-59 off Peavy once he gets to 75 pitches
  10. our only hope is if we sign benny "the jet" rodriguez... other than that we're f***ed.
  11. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jul 20, 2011 -> 06:52 PM) Former LSU bigman Garrett Green being called by IU. He has 1 year of eligibility remaining, and can play this year (he wants a Master's in a program LSU doesn't have), so it'd be perfect since he wouldn't affect the 2012 numbers. He'll be here this weekend. Sounds like this has a REALLY good chance of happening. Wouldn't be surprised to see him give his pledge this weekend.
  12. GT basketball also hit by the NCAA for a major violation. http://college-basketball-blog.blogs.cbssp...283066/30615446 IU rivals mod was tellling us some VERY interesting stories about Hewitt and his shadiness this morning.

  14. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jul 11, 2011 -> 06:49 PM) Maybe not at the beginning of the year, but by the start of the Big Ten play, this is honestly what I see shaping up to be the starting 5: 1. Abell 2. Hulls 3. Watford 4. Zeller 5. Pritchard Yes, I put Hulls at the 2, and didn't include V3 at all. Hulls is way better when he can move off the ball. Meanwhile, Abell will hopefully be the point that Crean has needed who can drive and create opportunities for others on the floor. He's a big body who can drive. Yes, Hulls is small as a 2, but he's already shown that he can score despite his size, though he does have to increase the amount of times he drives, just to open up more 3 point opportunities. On defense they can switch, and Hulls will take the opponent's 1, and Abell will take the 2. Watford likes to get outside a lot, and hopefully with Zeller in the mix we'll finally have the bodies for Watford to play the three. That said, Watford is so much better when he realizes he's bigger than his opponent and posts him up. Playing the 3, he'd have more opportunities for that. Zeller at the 4 will take a lot of pressure off of Pritch. I'm not expecting Zeller to the second coming, but I think he will be the capable and fundamentally sound big man we've been sorely lacking. I think the 4 guys off the bench will be V3, Sheehey, Oladipo and Elston. Oladipo is actually decent at the 4 despite his size because he's so athletic. Etherington won't get too much time, unless he shows early he can be damn good from outside. Oladipo and Sheehey will get a ton of minutes. They've been tearing it up in the Indy pro ams which is a summer league of NBA players and college players. Oladipo shut down Shelvin Mack last week and put up 22 points. Sheehey has grown to 6'7" also. Oladipo has put on 15 pounds of muscle and looks bigger than ever. His handle has improved leaps and bounds I hear too. Creek's rehab is right on schedule. His best basketball won't be played at IU, but I think he'll be alright this next year. His senior year should be pretty damn good if there are no setbacks. 2012-2013 should be the year IU is "back".
  15. I think Hulls will definitely be the starter this year and play the most minutes on our team. Abell will spell him, like Jones has the last few years IMO. Yogi will play right away, how much depends on how much Hulls continues to improve. Having Yogi and Hulls in at the same time would create a ton of shots for Jordan. Another note on Jeremy Hollowell. Most are saying if he continues his play of late (which I see no reason now that he's healthy and showing some grit he won't), that he will end up being a top 25 player and move into 5 star range. Kid has been unbelievable. Makes Gary Harris even more of a luxury piece.
  16. You go to any of the games farmteam? Also do you post on peegs? And yes, Hollowell is the talk of the scouts right now. Kid is absolutely blowing up right now. Saw he was drawing comparisons to a young Carmelo.
  17. I think he'll end up at UNC. Seems Maryland and UConn are bending the rules a bit and contacting him maybe a little too much. Saw Shabazz Wednesday vs the Indiana Elite... Trust me, there's not a better player in the country. He's better than Rivers and is NBA ready right now. Will be an absolute star in the pros.
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 27, 2011 -> 12:46 PM) http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballn...le-upset-at-nba Heres the link. Says Richmond is basically Harrison Barnes. Oh my god....
  19. Yea, Hatch's first crash killed his biological mom and 2 siblings. The second killed the rest of his family. They are bringing him out of his coma state today. Also just got word that they found the family dog, who was also aboard the plane, 15 miles away from the crash site. The vet that found him will be bringing him to Austin today. Miraculous the dog is okay.
  20. I started at ISU in Terre Haute, and am now at Purdue in West Lafayette. Nothing beats the Terre Haute smell. In the summer, you can't even go outside. West Lafayette is a hellhole though. Just keep telling myself one more year....
  21. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 12:34 PM) Nebraska basketball recruited better than Purdue? Purdue's recruiting was a damn joke from 2008-2011. From 2012-2013, Painter has started taking early commitments after Crean started picking up everyone. His upcoming classes should be pretty good. It's just not easy to recruit to West Lafayette. City is s***.
  22. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 13, 2011 -> 01:57 AM) Still would love to see a team in Indy, and I believe they would support one too. Indy reached the 540,000 attendance mark for the 14th straight year. While it would be cool, there's just too much pull between the Cards, Cubs, Sox, Reds, and Indians.
