What I am most happy about is I finally dont have to keep defending Carlos because he is defending himself just like I knew he would. Everyone was all over Carlos for his hitting (.230 avg last month) and his running errors. But really, who cares about him screwing up on the basepath when he makes up for it on the offensive end. Way to go Carlos.... 20 more hits til Sports Illistrated takes notice...

I thought this was a funny story as i was driving back from class this morning on the Jim Rome show. I guess they are going to vote on whether or not the vendor that sings opera during the game can stay hired. Because Detroit management told him to shut up if he wants to keep the job. So now they are going to ask the season ticket holders whether or not he should stay. I personally think its hilarious everytime I hear it on the TV when we play at Co-America BallPark.... Great voice too... Steve the Vendor gets my vote to stay!

No doubt Soxfest.... So let me get this straight Brando, this thread isnt a joke? Your really serious about Willie being as good as Soriano? Are you kidding me, he's playing good playing time for only 2 months now and his above .300 avg is very nice, but Willie has a long way to go defensively(gettign more range), has absolutley no power, and as fast as he is, hasnt figured out how to get good jumps on the basepaths. I would take 1 Soriano over about 3 Willie's....
