Jerry and Chris's statements bring it back down to 2/100 though. Also this is completely arbitrary and doesn't change the s%*# show of this season, but if the Sox Win today they would technically have a better winning % than the 62 Mets. 40-120= .250 41-121= .253

I think someone mentioned this at one point, but it's probably due to him being on a limit most of the season. He (like a lot of pitchers) has worse stats in the first couple innings. Next year when he's getting "normal" starts I think ERA+ will improve a lot.

Probably a bunch of things Being tied to a specific location that you call home and/or have pride for. I'll die a Sox fan even though I moved from IL to NC. Nostalgia/memories growing up. Going to games with your dad as a kid, getting autographs, playing backyard ball with friends and imitating your favorite players, etc. You can pick a new team but you don't have a lifelong history invested with them.
