White Sox Park

What was it Hawk used to say, "Like men playing with boys" . the Sox appear to be way out of their league against every team.

In 1970 the Sox were losing BIG . I was in high school and going to a lot of games . the park was mostly empty . this season may be similar.

We celebrated heartily when Wirtz was gone.

Will be battling the KC for last place . guess picking up Royals rejects wasn't a great idea.

The Sox are not good, but are the Rays this good, or just in an incredible hot streak . guess time will tell.

This more than the Sox being bad . the Rays are unbeatable right now.

Well, if Eloy becomes the superstar that he is supposed to be..

Often wondered what it would be like to be a Dodgers, Braves, or Astros fan . well, maybe not the Astros.

W0W, that was pretty much what I would like to say if I could . well done to whoever wrote it.

Listening to the Blackhawks, on the radio, back in the 60's, when they were at the stadium, was the closest thing to a religious experience for me back then . my catholic grade school didn't do much for me, but hockey did . especially when they won . Bobby Hull was a god to me . I loved sports, and for me, it was hockey, baseball, and football, in that order . my dad only liked the White Sox, and we went to a lot of games, before he died when I was 10 . I don't remember much now, but I do remember punching holes in my bedroom wall because of the bears, back in the early 70's, but I was passionate about all 3 of those teams . now, since my cognitive abilities are waning, I really don't feel much anymore, but I still watch the games.

I'm at the point where i just don't expect anything to go well, so i'm not fully emotionally invested in this team.

Hopefully the first of many..

The way that he glides and covers ground out there, reminds me of Devon White with the Blue Jays in the 90's.

On the south side, at any rate, it appears that there will be years of bad baseball ahead ..

It does appear that Moncada might have a good offensive season, if he can stay on the field . I wouldn't trade either right now . Burger looks like Roger Maris right now, it may just be one of those insane hot streaks , like that yankee player, years ago, who hit a ton of home runs through the first half of the season, and then just stopped.

I see other teams hiring capable, talented professionals, that really seem to have a handle on what it takes to build a winning organization . I truly wish that The White Sox could be one of those some day . doesn't appear that it will be in my lifetime.
