My first time in Tempe, I stepped off the plane from Chicago to 123 degrees . never saw another that high I think . I lived there for 5 or 6 years and loved it . I do remember seeing 100 at midnight often though.

Yea well that sucked . hopefully they go back to being a good team when they get home.

Good job by Burke being the stopper there . needed this game.

Last night had the feel of a playoff game for me . it was such a good game all the way through.

Yea, I was watching that game live . it was pretty incredible.

Sox pitching wasn't great but this is bad timing . until Thursday the Phillies have had great difficulty in scoring runs . the broadcaster said something about going a long time without scoring more than 4 runs.

Such an inopportune time for Murakami to be out, with the Phillies, Braves, Dodgers, & Yankees coming..

Since I live in Wisconsin I follow the Brewers . Vaughn is a beast . I really dislike the Dodgers, so looking forward to the nlds.

I was in high school that year and players like Luis Aparicio, Ed Herrmann, Wilbur Wood, Tommy John, Carlos May, Bill Melton, Walt Williams, and my favorite Ken Berry made it fun for me . the stadium was mostly empty and sometimes they would come over and talk . I loved those guys.

Man, Michael is bringing it..

This has been a really good ballgame . the kind that I never thought to see this year.
